Music Production
Production, mixing and arranging that give every instrument a voice — and every melody room to resonate.
01
Experience that serves the song
Louis has produced, mixed and arranged music for more than two decades. His work includes gold- and platinum-selling albums for acclaimed South African artists, including the Soweto String Quartet, who played at Nelson Mandela’s inauguration.
02
Across continents
Working in Pro Tools at his studio in Blountville, Tennessee, Louis brings together musicians from East Tennessee and South Africa. He is a Waves-certified mastering engineer, drawing on his South African experience and understanding of rhythm and musical movement.
03
A sound with clarity
Louis looks for each instrument’s voice and timbre so that the melody speaks and resonates. He has produced a wide range of styles, with a particular strength in open, clean productions with well-defined elements.
Meticulous production takes time. Louis selects a limited number of projects to give each recording the care and attention it deserves.
