Louis has led and produced worship from intimate settings to national events with thousands of participants. He has led alone, with small bands, and with a 16-piece band and choir, in churches and venues with varied acoustics and equipment.

As a worship pastor, vocalist, musician, arranger and producer, he trains worship leaders, musicians and support crews through speaking seminars, practical workshops and week-long worship schools, involving musicians and artists across multiple art forms.

Training explores God’s nature as a creative artist, art in the Bible, the liturgical flow of worship, and the heart, posture and attitude of worship artists. Topics include performance, ministry and worship art, understanding the worship calling, the arts in church and missions, and excellence.

Louis also addresses insecurity, pride, criticism and compliments — the personal dimensions of serving through worship.

Practical topics include arranging worship music, creative writing, directing creative flow, producing a worship set, service, event or conference, dynamics, musical textures, and choosing songs, keys and lead vocals.

Technical training covers frequencies, EQ, reverb and delay; vocal production and mixing; microphone placement; worship styles; adapting to no band, small bands or large bands; stage training; multitracks, loops, pads and multimedia; setting up a worship mix and working with room acoustics. It also considers how worship translates from stage to audience and mixing desk.

Louis and Hettie Brittz combine teaching, music ministry and worship for Christian audiences. Hettie is a founding partner and content creator of Tall Trees Training, with teaching based largely on Bible-based temperament applications.

Their work includes marriage and parenting courses and seminars, identity, fear, anger, bitterness and forgiveness. Hettie’s books and talks address trauma, and their teaching includes series on RightNow Media.
