Biography
Louis is Worship Pastor at Celebration Church Tri-Cities, Tennessee, a performing music minister. worship artist and producer. He hails from Pretoria, South Africa. He is one of South Africa’s most recognized worship artists and singer-songwriters. He has recorded more than 23 albums and has been performing worldwide for 30 years.
His career as an artist developed into music production, event production and creative directing/producing of many national events in South Africa and Namibia.
He has produced award-winning albums for many artists, some of which sold gold and platinum in South Africa. He now operates as arranger/producer at his studio in Blountville, Tennessee where he collaborates with American and South African artists and musicians, bringing incredible artistry together over continents. He is a worship-production teacher and has trained worship leaders and musicians in 14 countries.
He often travels with his wife Hettie – an internationally acclaimed author and speaker – and they teach on a variety of topics ranging from marriage, parenting, identity, temperament and our spiritual legacy to hope, healing and forgiveness after trauma. They are survivors of armed robbery, abduction, rape, immigration and many “ordinary” ordeals (after 30 years of marriage!) They’ve raised 3 children and they love helping people in their Christian walk. Louis is a trained lawyer and has helped pioneer and steer national missions and ministry movements.
